The Story of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The feast in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe goes back to the 16th century. Chronicles of that period tell us the story.

A poor Indian named Cuauhtlatohuac was baptized and given the name Juan Diego. He was a 57-year-old widower, and lived in a small village near Mexico City. On Saturday morning December 9, 1531, he was on his way to a nearby barrio to attend Mass in honor of Our Lady.

Juan was walking by a hill called Tepeyac when he heard beautiful music like the warbling of birds. A radiant cloud appeared, and within it stood an Indian maiden dressed like an Aztec princess. The lady spoke to him in his own language and sent him to the bishop of Mexico, a Franciscan named Juan de Zumarraga. The bishop was to build a chapel in the place where the lady appeared.

Eventually the bishop told Juan to have the lady give him a sign. About this same time Juan’s uncle became seriously ill. This led poor Juan to try to avoid the lady. Nevertheless the lady found Juan, assured him that his uncle would recover, and provided roses for Juan to carry to the bishop in his cape or tilma.

On December 12, when Juan Diego opened his tilma in the bishop’s presence, the roses fell to the ground, and the bishop sank to his knees. On the tilma where the roses had been appeared an image of Mary exactly as she had appeared at the hill of Tepeyac.

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe

Holy Virgin of Guadalupe, Queen of the Angels and Mother of the Americas,

We fly to you today as your beloved children.

We ask you to intercede for us with your Son, as you did at the wedding in Cana.

Pray for us, loving Mother,

and gain for our nation and world,

and for all our families and loved ones,

the protection of your holy angels,

that we may be spared the worst of this illness.

For those already afflicted,

we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance.

Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful,

wipe away their tears and help them to trust.

In this time of trial and testing,

teach all of us in the Church to love one another and to be patient and kind.

Help us to bring the peace of Jesus to our land and to our hearts.

We come to you with confidence,

knowing that you truly are our compassionate Mother,

health of the sick and cause of our joy.

Shelter us under the mantle of your protection,

keep us in the embrace of your arms,

help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen

To Seek Jesus Is To Find Happiness

“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provoked you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is He who reads in your heart your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.

It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.”

St. John Paul II

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

 Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

December 8

"Ave Maria Purisima, sin pecado concebida!"

(Hail Purest Mary, conceived without sin!)

In the Constitution Ineffabilis Deus of 8 December, 1854, Pius IX pronounced and defined that the Blessed Virgin Mary "in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race, was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin."

"The Blessed Virgin Mary..."

The subject of this immunity from original sin is the person of Mary at the moment of the creation of her soul and its infusion into her body.

"...in the first instance of her conception..."

The term conception does not mean the active or generative conception by her parents. Her body was formed in the womb of the mother, and the father had the usual share in its formation. The question does not concern the immaculateness of the generative activity of her parents. Neither does it concern the passive conception absolutely and simply (conceptio seminis carnis, inchoata), which, according to the order of nature, precedes the infusion of the rational soul. The person is truly conceived when the soul is created and infused into the body. Mary was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin at the first moment of her animation, and sanctifying grace was given to her before sin could have taken effect in her soul.

"...was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin..."

The formal active essence of original sin was not removed from her soul, as it is removed from others by baptism; it was excluded, it never was in her soul. Simultaneously with the exclusion of sin. The state of original sanctity, innocence, and justice, as opposed to original sin, was conferred upon her, by which gift every stain and fault, all depraved emotions, passions, and debilities, essentially pertaining to original sin, were excluded. But she was not made exempt from the temporal penalties of Adam — from sorrow, bodily infirmities, and death.

"...by a singular privilege and grace granted by God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the human race."

The immunity from original sin was given to Mary by a singular exemption from a universal law through the same merits of Christ, by which other men are cleansed from sin by baptism. Mary needed the redeeming Saviour to obtain this exemption, and to be delivered from the universal necessity and debt (debitum) of being subject to original sin. The person of Mary, in consequence of her origin from Adam, should have been subject to sin, but, being the new Eve who was to be the mother of the new Adam, she was, by the eternal counsel of God and by the merits of Christ, withdrawn from the general law of original sin. Her redemption was the very masterpiece of Christ's redeeming wisdom. He is a greater redeemer who pays the debt that it may not be incurred than he who pays after it has fallen on the debtor.

(Immaculate Conception, Catholic Encyclopedia, newadvent.org)

Such is the meaning of the term "Immaculate Conception."

REFLECTION:

We are not like Mary who was conceived without original sin. But we are all like Mary who is loved by God so much. This love of God made us all sharers in the Kingdom of God. This celebration is all about LOVE. Mary’s Immaculate Conception was not only about the LOVE of God for her but also about the LOVE of God for US! Because, it is in the Immaculate Conception of Mary where the Hope of Salvation of humankind was realized. Behold the woman who was prepared to be pure from the beginning to bear Christ, to bear God.

This celebration calls all of us to remember the moment where our original was cleansed, our baptism. When we were baptized, we received Christ. Now, like Mary, we are called to bring Christ to anyone who needs Him. We are not only baptized and cleansed just for ourselves but, for us to become a living witnesses of God’s love to our neighbors.

PRAYER:

Father, you prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of your Son. You let her share beforehand in the salvation Christ would bring by His death, and kept her sinless from the first moment of her conception. Help us by her prayers to live in your presence without sin. Amen.

HAIL MARY

FULL OF GRACE

THE LORD IS WITH YOU

BLESSED ARE YOU AMONG WOMEN AND BLESSED IS THE FRUIT OF YOUR WOMB JESUS.

HOLY MARY, MOTHER OF GOD, PRAY FOR US SINNERS NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH.

AMEN

Prayer To The Immaculate Conception

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception

of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

did prepare a worthy dwelling place for Your Son,

we beseech You that, as by the foreseen death of this, Your Son, You did preserve Her from all stain,

so too You would permit us, purified through Her intercession, to come unto You.

Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

God, world without end. Amen ๐Ÿ™

Saint Margaret of Scotland’s Story

๐Ÿ•Š SAINT OF THE DAY ๐Ÿ•Š

๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ST. MARGARET OF SCOTLAND ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

(Feast Day: Nov. 16,)

Pray for us!

Saint Margaret of Scotland’s Story

Margaret of Scotland was a truly liberated woman in the sense that she was free to be herself. For her, that meant freedom to love God and serve others.

Not Scottish by birth, Margaret was the daughter of Princess Agatha of Hungary and the Anglo-Saxon Prince Edward Atheling. She spent much of her youth in the court of her great-uncle, the English king, Edward the Confessor. Her family fled from William the Conqueror and was shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland. King Malcolm befriended them and was captivated by the beautiful, gracious Margaret. They were married at the castle of Dunfermline in 1070.

Malcolm was good-hearted, but rough and uncultured, as was his country. Because of Malcolm’s love for Margaret, she was able to soften his temper, polish his manners, and help him become a virtuous king. He left all domestic affairs to her, and often consulted her in state matters.

Margaret tried to improve her adopted country by promoting the arts and education. For religious reform she encouraged synods and was present for the discussions which tried to correct religious abuses common among priests and laypeople, such as simony, usury, and incestuous marriages. With her husband, she founded several churches.

Margaret was not only a queen, but a mother. She and Malcolm had six sons and two daughters. Margaret personally supervised their religious instruction and other studies.

Although she was very much caught up in the affairs of the household and country, she remained detached from the world. Her private life was austere. She had certain times for prayer and reading Scripture. She ate sparingly and slept little in order to have time for devotions. She and Malcolm kept two Lents, one before Easter and one before Christmas. During these times she always rose at midnight for Mass. On the way home she would wash the feet of six poor persons and give them alms. She was always surrounded by beggars in public and never refused them. It is recorded that she never sat down to eat without first feeding nine orphans and 24 adults.

In 1093, King William Rufus made a surprise attack on Alnwick castle. King Malcolm and his oldest son, Edward, were killed. Margaret, already on her deathbed, died four days after her husband.

Reflection

There are two ways to be charitable: the “clean way” and the “messy way.” The “clean way” is to give money or clothing to organizations that serve the poor. The “messy way” is dirtying your own hands in personal service to the poor. Margaret’s outstanding virtue was her love of the poor. Although very generous with material gifts, Margaret also visited the sick and nursed them with her own hands. She and her husband served orphans and the poor on their knees during Advent and Lent. Like Christ, she was charitable the “messy way.”

Fifteen Promises Of Our Blessed Mother To Anyone Who Pray The Holy Rosary

The Rosary is a potent weapon against evil first given to St. Dominic by our Blessed Mother in the 13th Century. Some say that the Blessed Virgin Mary was carrying a sword as she handed it to St. Dominic. Once the sword left the divine world and entered our world into Saint. Dominic’s hands, the sword turned into a Rosary.

Our Lady of Fatima also known as Our Lady of the Holy Rosary mentioned on many occasions the importance of praying the Rosary on a daily basis.

Our Blessed Mother also made Fifteen Promises to anyone who Recites the Rosary:

1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.

11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ.

15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Read here about Saint Lawrence of Rome, the patron saint of many causes

Saint Lawrence of Rome
(d. 258 A.D.) was likely a Spaniard by birth who lived in Rome while Christianity was outlawed under pain of death.
He was appointed by Pope St. Sixtus II as archdeacon over the seven deacons of Rome, and held the sacred duty of tending to the Church's wealth and distributing alms to the poor.
After Pope St. Sixtus II was beheaded by Roman Emperor Valerian, along with the six other deacons, Lawrence was left as the highest-ranking clergy in Rome.
He was ordered by the Roman authorities to appear before the tribunal—a summons to his execution—along with the treasures of the Church that were in his possession.
St. Lawrence then quickly distributed the Church's wealth to the poor so that the government could not confiscate it.
On the appointed day, August 10th, Lawrence responded to the summons by bringing with him a multitude of the poor and crippled of Rome; these he proclaimed to be the true treasure of the Church. This angered the authorities so greatly that Lawrence was ordered to be burned alive on a gridiron.
He was bound to the metal grate and slowly roasted to death over hot coals. During his torture Lawrence famously mocked his torturers by saying, "I am done on this side, turn me over." St. Lawrence is the patron saint of many causes including cooks, chefs, comedians, deacons, librarians, students, and the poor. His feast day is August 10th.

Prayer To Heal Covid 19

Invoke Saint Roch Intercession For Deliverance From The Pandemic Covid-19

Saint Roch

Saint Roch of Montpellier
(Saint Roch de Montpellier)

Feast Day – August 17

Saint Roch was the only son of a wealthy nobleman in France, who seems to have been governor of the town of Montpellier. In answer to the persevering prayers of the parents, this child was granted to them. His future career was indicated by a birthmark in the form of a red cross that was deeply marked on his breast.

The parents raised St Roch in a devout manner. Proof was given when, at the age of 20, he lost both parents. He did not use the immense fortune he inherited for his personal benefit, but he sold all the personal property and distributed the proceeds among the poor while he transferred the ownership of the real estate to his uncle. This done, he joined the Third Order of St Francis, put on a pilgrim's garb, and journeyed to Rome to visit the tombs of the Apostles.

When he arrived at Acquapendente in northern Italy about the year 1315, he found that an epidemic had broken out there and was making fearful ravages. Saint Roch did not hasten on, as many another person, fearful for his life, would have done, but according to the example of Christ and the admonition of the beloved disciple (1 John 3:16), he offered his life in the service of his brethren in Christ.

Saint Roch went to the hospital of St John, which was filled with the plague stricken, and offered his services to the brothers there. He also went to individual homes and sought out the sick, serving them without rest by day and by night. God rewarded his heroic charity by causing many to be cured at the mere Sign of the Cross which Saint Roch made over them. When the plague abated, Roch proceeded on his journey to Rome.

In Rome, too, an epidemic had broken out. Besides visiting the holy places, Saint Roch again devoted himself to the care of the sick, many of whom were miraculously cured by him. He performed the same services in many other towns of Italy until he arrived in Piacenza and was himself stricken with the dread disease. In the very hospital where he had cured so many sick, he was now looked upon as an intruder, who as an outsider had no right to claim a place there.

In order not to be a burden to others, he arose, left the house, and with the support of a staff dragged himself wearily to a neighboring woods. There he came upon a dilapidated hut with a bit of straw, where he lay down, thanking God for the quiet lodging.

God Himself provided for his nourishment. As He once took care of Elias, sending him bread by means of a raven, so He now sent bread to Roch by means of a dog from a neighboring country house.

The sick man gradually recovered. When he had regained sufficient strength, he was divinely inspired to return to his native town. There furious warfare was raging. The soldiers whom he encountered thought he was a spy. He was led before the governor of Montpellier, his own uncle, who, however, did not recognize his nephew in the emaciated prisoner, and had the supposed spy cast into prison.

Saint Roch did not say a word in his defense; he wished, like Christ, to accept in silence whatever heaven had ordained for him. Because of the disturbances of the war, he was almost completely forgotten, and languished in prison for 5 years. Then death put an end to his trials on August 16, 1378.

When he felt that his end was drawing near, Saint Roch asked that a priest might come and administer the last sacraments. The priest, on entering the prison, beheld it supernaturally lighted up and the poor captive surrounded with special radiance. As death claimed its victim, a tablet appeared on the wall on which an angelic hand wrote in golden letters the name of Roch, and the prediction that all who would invoke his intercession would be delivered from the plague.

Informed of all that took place, Saint Roch's uncle came to the prison and, shortly after, also the governor's mother, that is, Roch's grandmother. She identified the dead man as her grandson by the birthmark of the red cross on his breast. They gave him a magnificent funeral and had a church built in his honor, in which his body was entombed. His veneration was approved by several popes and soon spread throughout Europe. He was canonized by Pope Urban VIII. He is the patron against contagious diseases.

ST. TERESA BENEDICTA OF THE CROSS

Died Aug 9, 1942

St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (1891–1942) was born as Edith Stein in Prussia, the youngest of eleven children from a devout Jewish family. She was a bright and gifted child, and as she matured she became an atheist. She went on to receive a doctorate in philosophy, studying under the famous philosophers Heidegger and Husserl. Despite her atheism, she was affected by several friends who displayed a great passion for the Catholic faith. One day, while staying at a friend's home, she saw the autobiography of St. Teresa of Avila. She read it from cover to cover, and after finishing it she exclaimed, "This is the Truth." Edith was baptized in Cologne, Germany in 1922. From there she taught for a time at a Dominican school and studied St. Thomas Aquinas and other Catholic philosophers. When the rise of anti-semitism forced her to resign from a teaching post, she wrote to Pope Pius XI asking him to publicly denounce the Nazis. Discerning a call to the religious life, she became a Carmelite nun in Cologne 1934, taking the name Teresa Benedicta of the Cross after her special devotion to the Cross of Christ. When the Nazi threat grew in Germany, her Order transferred her to a convent in the Netherlands for safety. There Edith grew in her desire to offer her life for the salvation of souls. The Nazis eventually came for her, and she, along with her sister Rose, who was also a convert, were sent to the Nazi concentration camp in Auschwitz. They were both killed in the gas chamber. St. Edith Stein is the patroness of martyrs and Europe. Her feast day is August 9th.

Words That Builds Up Or Tear Down? Which Should We Speak To Others?

Ephesians 4:29

Let no unwholesome word proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to the listeners.

Before you speak, let your words pass through 3 gates:
1. Is it true?
2. Is it necessary?
3.Is it kind?

Promises Of Jesus To Those Who Consecrate Themselves To His Sacred Heart

Jesus Christ promised that, in response to those who consecrate themselves and make reparations to His Sacred Heart:

1.He will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

2.He will establish peace in their homes.

3.He will comfort them in all their afflictions.

4.He will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.

5.He will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.

6.Sinners will find in His Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.

7.Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.

8.Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.

9.He will bless every place in which an image of His Heart is exposed and honored.

10.He will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

11.Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in His Heart.

12.In the excessive mercy of His Heart, His all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in His disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. His divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.

The devotions attached to these promises are:

1.Receiving Communion frequently

2.First Fridays: going to Confession and receiving the Eucharist on the first Friday of each month for nine consecutive months. Many parishes will offer public First Friday devotions; if they do, you must perform First Fridays publicly. If it isn’t so offered in your parish, you can do this privately, going to Confession, receiving the Eucharist, and offering your prayers for the intention of the Holy Father.

3.Holy Hour: Eucharistic Adoration for one hour on Thursdays. (“Could you not watch one hour with me?”) Holy Hour can be made alone or as part of a group with formal prayers.

4.Celebrating of the Feast of the Sacred Heart

Prayer to Our Lady Of Perpetual Help

June 27 is the Feast Day

Our Mother of Perpetual of Help

Our Mother of Perpetual Help is one of the most well-known and loved images of the Blessed Mother for catholics. In the Philippines, the National Shrine of our Mother of Perpetual Help or commonly known as Baclaran Church has been a center of Marian devotion for many years now, with countless miracles and special graces attributed to Our Mother of Perpetual Help. The Icon is more than a work of art and shows the Christian mystery of Redemption. Each part of the Icon expresses profound theological meaning:
1. Star in Our Lady’s Veil - she is the "Star of the Sea" who brought the light of Christ into our darkened world.  This star leads us to the safe port of Heaven.
2. Primary initials on either side of Our Lady's Crown -  Greek initials for "Mother of God".
3. Initials above the angel on the left - Greek initials of St. Michael the Archangel.
4. St. Michael - holding the lance and gall-sop, foreshadowing Christ's Passion and death.
5. Our Lady's Blue Garment - symbolic that she is both Virgin and Mother.
6. Jesus' and Our Lady’s  clothing - are colors of royalty.
7. Serene face of Our Lady -  contemplative of Jesus' future sufferings.
8. Tiny mouth of Our Lady - silent for prayer and recollection, speaks little.
9. Large eyes of Our Lady - to see our troubles and needs and are always turned toward us.
10. Golden background - symbol of Heaven, where both Jesus and Mary are now enthroned; this Light of Heaven radiates through both of their clothing indicating the heavenly joy they bring to human hearts.
11. Initials above the angel on the right - Greek initials of St. Gabriel the Archangel.
12. St. Gabriel - holding the cross and the nails, foreshadowing Christ’s Passion and death.
13. Initials to the right of Jesus' head - Greek initials for "Jesus Christ".
14. Our Lady’s hands holding the child Jesus possessively and lovingly - because she is His Mother.  She, too, is our loving Mother. Her hand does not clutch the hands of Jesus' tightly, but remains open, inviting us to her son, Jesus.
15. Jesus' hands are turned downward - a symbol that He is placing the Graces of Redemption in her hands. These Graces are available to any and to all who implore her for them through prayer.
16. Jesus' sandal falling from his foot - indicates the haste with which he has run to her in fear, gazing at the angels who hold the instruments of his Passion and death. The loose sandal represents Christ's divine nature, untied from the bounds of earth. The secure sandal is symbolic of His human nature.

Just as the Child Jesus fled into the arms of His  Mother when he was frightened, so too, do we flee into the arms of our Blessed Mother with child-like confidence whenever fear envelopes our hearts. We can always come to her in our time of need...

PRAYER

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you to us, so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you, prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help.

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you. {Mention your petition. Let us also unite our intentions to request Our Mother of Perpetual Help to pray to God, the Father of mercies, to end this pandemic.} Amen!

Hail Mary...(3 times)

Never Ever Stop Praying For The Best Of Everyone

Hate no one,

No matter how much

they’ve wronged you.

Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve hurt you.
Hate no one, no matter how much they’ve betrayed you.
Live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become.
Live humbly, no matter how famous you become.
Live humbly, no matter how powerful you become.
Think positively, no matter how hard life is.
Think positively, no matter how many problems you face right now.
Think positively, no matter how many people come and go in your life.
Give much, even if you’ve only got little.
Give much, even if you’ve been given little.
Give much, even if you’ve been suffering a lot.
Forgive all, especially yourself.
Forgive all, especially those who did not as for it.
Forgive all, especially everyone who brought you pain and suffering.

And never ever stop PRAYING for the best for everyone.

The essence of the recap of God’s commandments as summed in two great commandments is Love for God and neighbor. Hating no one / Living humbly / Thinking Positively / Giving much or Being Generous / Forgiving all / And Praying ceaselessly for the best for everyone…

Surrender Yourself To Jesus

When you are overwhelmed with problems and feel so helpless, ask Jesus help. Surrender everything to Him. Expect miracles to happen. If you let Jesus to work on your life specifically, your problems, solutions will come easily and unexpectedly. Thats how Jesus works in our lives. Try trusting Jesus and let your faith and spirit soar.

Jesus to the soul:
JesusYou take over!
A prayer of the Servant of God, Fr. Dolindo Ruotolo

Why are you upset and agitated? Leave your cares to Me and all will be fine.

I tell you honestly, every act of true and blind reliance on Me, results in what you desire and will resolve all your difficulties.

Abandonment in Me does not mean being frustrated, becoming anxious and desperate, offering Me your anxious prayer, that I may follow you and have your anxiety be a prayer.

Abandonment means to shut the eyes of your soul in peace, moving your thoughts away from your troubles, and instead of thinking about your worries and pain, let Me take over your troubles.

Simply say: Jesus, You take over.

To be worried, restless, and to think of the consequences of an event is the opposite of reliance, it is really contrary to it.

It is like a child, who wants his mom to take care his needs, but in the way he wants: and with his whims and childish ideas he hampers her work.

Shut your eyes and go with the flow of My grace.

Do not ponder over your present moment and put away thoughts of your future as a temptation;

rest in Me, believe in My goodness and I swear on My Love, that if you think like this: Jesus, You take over, I indeed will do it for you, I will comfort you, free you, and guide you.

If I have to take you in a different direction from the one you are looking at, I will train you, I pick you up in my arms, and you will find yourself, like a baby sleeping in his mother’s arms, on the other shore.

What gives you immense stress and hurts you, is your reasoning over it, your thoughts and the pains it gives you; it is wanting at all costs to take care by yourself of what is afflicting you.

How many things I can do, be it a material or a spiritual need, when the soul turns to Me, looks at Me and says to Me: Jesus, You take over, and close its eyes and rests in Me!

You do not receive many graces because you insist on getting them by yourself; but instead you will receive numberless graces, when your prayer is in full reliance on Me.

When you are in pain, and you pray that I may act, you want Me to act as you believe I should... you do not turn to Me; instead you want Me to submit to your ideas;

you are like a sick person who does not ask the doctor for the cure, but tells him what the cure is to be.

Don’t be like this, but pray as I taught you in the Our Father: Hallowed be your name, which means, may You be glorified in this need of mine;

 Your kingdom come, which means, everything may work toward Your Kingdom in us and in the world;

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, which means, You direct it as it seems best to You for the good of our eternal and temporal life.

When you truly tell me: Your will be done, which is the same then to say: Jesus, You take over, then I do intervene with all My omnipotence, and I will resolve every situation, even if there is no way out.

For example, do you see your sickness becoming worse instead of improving? Don’t become anxious, close your eyes and tell Me with trust: Your will be done, Jesus, You take over.

I repeat it, I do take care, I intervene like a doctor, and even do a miracle if it is necessary.

Does a patient become worse? Don’t be frightened, close your eyes and say: Jesus, You take over. I tell you again: I will indeed do it for you, and there is no medicine more powerful than my loving intervention.

I take over only when you close your eyes.

You never sleep, you want to appraise everything, to think, to delve into everything; you choose to rely on human power, or, worse, on men, trusting their intervention.

This is what hampers My words and My will. Oh how much I long for this reliance in order to assist you, and how much I grieve to see your anxiety.

Satan does just this: he gives you anxiety to remove Me from you and throw you into human initiative.

Trust only in Me instead, rest in Me, rely on Me in everything.

I do miracles in proportion to your complete reliance on Me, with no thought of yourself.

I spread treasures of graces when you are in the most squalid poverty.

If you have your own resources, even a few, or if you seek them, you are at the natural level, thus you follow the natural way of things, which often are dominated by Satan.

Never a thinker or a philosopher has done any miracle, not even among the Saints; only he who relies on God does divine work.

When you see that things become complicated, say with your eyes closed: Jesus, I abandon myself to You; Jesus, You take over, and stop worrying about it, because your mind is
sharp and for you it is difficult to distinguish evil; but trust in Me, and let your mind wander away from your thoughts.

Do this for all your needs; all of you, do this, and you shall see great things, endless and silent miracles.

I swear it on My Love. I shall indeed take over, you can be sure of it.

Pray always with this loving confidence and you shall have great peace and great fruits, even when I choose for you the grace of immolating yourself for reparation and the love that entails suffering.

Do you believe it is impossible? Shut your eyes and say with all your soul: Jesus, You take over.

Don’t be afraid, I indeed will take care of you, and you shall bless My Name, in humility.

A thousand prayers do not equal only one act of abandonment; don’t ever forget it.

There is no better novena than this: Oh Jesus I abandon myself to You, Jesus, You take over.

The Rosary of Abandonment

Prayer Protection Against Pandemics and Sickness

Almighty God, who forgive the sins of your people and heal all their faults
You, whom we call our Lord and healer sent your beloved Son to bear our sickness,
look upon us who stand humbly before You.
We pray to You in this time of plague and need,
remember Your love and kindness that You have always shown to Your people in times of tribulation.
Just as You graciously looked upon Aaron’s atonement and stopped the plague that broke out,
just as You accepted David’s sacrifice and commanded the destroying angel to withdraw his hand,
accept also today our prayer and sacrifice and show us mercy.
Keep this disease away from us, allow those affected to be healed,
protect those who have been preserved from it so far by Your goodness,
and do not let the plague spread any further.
Holy Mary, health of the sick, pray for us!
Saint Corona, pray for us!
Saint Sebastian, pray for us!Saint Roch, pray for us!Amen!
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come,Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;

and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
