SAINT MOTHER TERESA AND THE BAKER

MOTHER TERESA AND THE BAKER

There is a story told about Mother Teresa and a baker. Not sure whether it's true or not, but it's definitely worth a read

Mother Teresa entered the baker's shop.
She asks for bread to feed the orphan children.
When she extended her hand asking for charity,
The baker spat in her hand!

Mother Teresa put her hand to her chest and said: I will keep this for myself.
Then she extended her other hand and said:
Now give me some bread to feed my children.

The baker was amazed at her great kindness.
He became the main bread donor for Mother Teresa's orphanage.

Make the love in you be stronger than the abuse that comes to you.
God will compensate you for every pain you experienced with great joy.

The EMERGENCY Novena OF MOTHER TERESA TO OUR LADY

Memorare

Memorare is a Roman Catholic prayer seeking the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Memorare, from the Latin "Remember", is frequently misattributed to the 12th-century Cistercian monk Saint Bernard ... Wikipedia

Do you ever feel like you could use some help approaching God in your prayers?

The Memorare is a prayer that reminds us that we have a wonderful advocate and protector in the mother of our Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Father Claude Bernard (1588-1641) popularized the Memorare prayer after it miraculously cured a deathly illness he was suffering from. He proceeded to share the Memorare with others and had over 200,000 leaflets printed with the prayer in various languages.

Memorare Novena Prayers
Pray this prayer nine times.Add 1 time for Thanksgiving. 10 times all in all.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection,
implored your help,
or sought your intercession was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto you,
O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother.

To you I come,
before you I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.

O Mother of the Word incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your clemency hear and answer me.

Amen.
