Prayer to Ask Mary, Mother of Grace

PRAYER TO MARY, MOTHER OF GRACE
(By. St. Athanasius, Bishop/Doctor)

Mary, our Mother!
It becomes you to be mindful of us,
as you stand near Him who granted you all graces,
for you are the Mother of God and our Queen.

Help us for the sake of the King,
the Lord God and Master who was born of you.
For this reason,
you are called full of grace.

Remember us, most holy Virgin,
and bestow on us gifts
from the riches of your graces,
Virgin full of graces.

Personal Consecration Prayer of Family to Jesus

Jesus and Mary!
You lived in the family at Nazareth with Joseph, so every family is dear to you.
Mother Mary, the Queen of the family, our family, united in mutual love, commits itself to your Immaculate Heart. Keep us under your maternal protection and lead us to your Son Jesus.

Lord Jesus, gathered in your name through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we consecrate and commit ourselves to your Sacred Heart. Mold our hearts after your heart so that you will live more and more in us and among us.

Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, (families with young children add: we especially consecrate and commit to you the upbringing of our children). Help us to fulfill our duties conscientiously, and to live according to the commandments of God and of the Church, especially the commandment to love God and our neighbour, living the Gospel in our hearts and acting according to the teachings of the Church under the leadership of the successor of St. Peter.

We want to respect one another, to forgive one another, faithfully carry our crosses and live a kind of love that is ready to give life for another. We will not close up in ourselves but be attentive to the needs of others.

As a home Church, our family should be a community of grace and prayer, a school of human and Christian virtues, especially of love. We will gladly cooperate in the life of our parish, participate in holy Mass and in the sacrament of confession, reconciling with God and with one another.
The Eucharist shall make us one body. Everyday family and personal prayer shall be our strongest and most powerful encouragement for accepting our responsibilities as a Christian family.
Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, protect us from every sin. We resolve especially to avoid sins against faith, hope and love, sins of swearing and unchastity, sins of the tongue and envy, sins of hatred and every evil.

We promise to keep the Lord’s Day holy. For conversion of sinners we will gladly pray the rosary and observe the devotion of the first Fridays and Saturdays. We will make reparation for all offences that we and the world alienated from God offend you with.

Help us to live constantly in the grace of God and stay faithful to you until the end. May all members of our family reach a happy old age and one day with our friends enjoy eternal happiness in heaven.
Amen.

PEACE, DO NOT BE AFRAID - JOHN 14:27

The devil is tempting us to be afraid and discouraged in this time of Covid 19 pandemic crisis.

If he can get your heart to question whether you are really loved, whether you really can conquer a particular sin, whether anyone cares for you, whether you are worthy, etc. – then he wins over your heart to fear and discouragement. This is why one of the most popular themes in the Bible is to have no fear. Faith, hope, and perfect love cast out fear, because we rest in the truth of Jesus, not in the lies of the devil.

Right now, many Catholics are afraid of having the Mass being inaccessible for a longer period. They worry about how long social distancing may last. They are scared about what the future might hold economically or politically. This is right where the devil wants you, in fear and discouragement. God wants you to hope. Hope that heaven is real. That God is in charge. That suffering can be redemptive and is always temporary.
Hope and be at peace.

Healing Prayer For Family

Do you pray for your family to be free and healed? Today’s family is under tremendous pressure. The enemy wants us to be divided and isolated. But Almighty God desires forgiveness, unity and love.
The restoration of your family is the work of a lifetime. Some knots and wounds go back for generations. No family will ever be perfect. Still, Christ’s perfect work can free and heal your family in miraculous ways. Don’t place your expectations before God’s plan. Stay forever hopeful. This process of trusting and waiting forms your character as a child of God.
Dear heavenly Father, Do you see my family?
Broken and imprisoned By selfishness, fear, hurt And silence.
Won’t you help us, please? Send your Spirit, Oh Lord! Forgive us! Save us!
Pour out your mercy now! Cast out the enemy!
Place the promise in our hearts That nothing is impossible for you.
Give me the faith and courage to continue in prayer and service No matter what it takes,
No matter how long. I know Christ fights for us.
I know he died for us. I know he rose again on the 3rd day.
May that truth reach even The hardest of our hearts.
Set the captives free, Wash our deepest wounds.
And let me not be hurried, Lord.
Teach me to wait upon your grace, To rest in your will.
My family is worth the wait. Unite us in your all-consuming love.
In the holy name of Christ Jesus, Amen.

MORNING PRAYER AND THE IMPORTANCE OF CATHOLIC PRAYERS

A morning offering is a good start . I like this one ;

“God of my life I welcome this new day. It is your gift by me, a new creation,a promise of resurrection .I thank you for the grace of being alive this morning .I thank you for the sleep that has refreshed me. I thank you for the chance to make a new beginning.
This day is full of promise and opportunity , let me waste none of it .This day is full of mystery and the unknown ,help me to face it without fear or anxiety .
During this day keep me thoughtful, prayerful and kind.
May I be courteous and helpful to others and not turned in on myself . Keep me from any word or deed that would hurt or destroy or belittle, and may the thoughts of my mind be pleasing in your sight. When night comes again may I look back on this day with no grief or bitterness in my heart and may nobody be unhappy because of anything I have done, or anything I have failed to do .
Lord Jesus , friend and brother, may I know you more clearly , follow you more nearly and love you more dearly day by day. Amen.”
The Our Father was taught to us by Jesus, Himself, and is the perfect prayer. The Hail Mary is the Angel Gabriel’s greeting to Mary  when he came to tell her that she was to be the Mother of God.
The Holy Mary was composed by The Church.
The Glory be..  honours the Trinity and we begin and end everything in the Name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit .
I hope this is helpful . As the priest said at your Baptism,” The Christian community welcomes you with great joy.” 🙏

Powerful Healing Miracle Prayer to St. Anthony

St Anthony is a Miracle Worker… Say this _Powerful

Prayer to him NOW

Provided it is said in faith and for a particular spiritual benefit

St. Anthony of Padua is known by many as a miracle-worker. A countless number of people over the centuries have prayed to him in faith and have received a miraculous response to their prayers.
Similar to the “Unfailing Prayer to St. Joseph,” this prayer to St. Anthony, according to many, “has never been known to fail, provided that the request is for one’s spiritual benefit or for those whom we are praying for.”
It is important to remember God always answers our prayers. His response may not always be what we expected or wanted, but he always grants us exactly what we need.
Here is the Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony that many continue to pray with a deep trust that God will provide for them in their need.

O Holy St. Anthony gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request).
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms. The gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

What To Do When We Are Unable To Go To Mass At This Time Of Crisis?

During a time when most celebrations of Mass have been suspended worldwide to combat the spread of the Corona Virus, Pope Francis, last Friday, offered his Mass for those who are sick, those who care for the sick, and all those who are affected by the coronavirus. In his homily, he addressed those who are unable to receive Communion or the Sacrament of Confession in the midst of coronavirus-cancelled Mass.
“Many will say to me today: ‘But, Father, where can I find a priest, a confessor, because one can’t leave home? And I want to make peace with the Lord, I want Him to embrace me. What can I do if I can’t find priests?'”
The Holy Father told the Faithful to follow the Catechism and confess your sins to God.
“Do what the Catechism says. it’s very clear: if you don’t find a priest to hear your Confession, talk with God, He is your Father, and tell Him the truth: ‘Lord, I’ve done this, and that, and that – I’m sorry,’ and ask Him for forgiveness with all your heart, with the Act of Contrition and promise Him: ‘Afterwards I will go to Confession, but forgive me now.'”
For unable to receive the Eucharist, Pope Francis’ offered the Faithful a prayer for spiritual communion:
“My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. I prostrate myself at your feet, O my Jesus, and I offer you the repentance of my heart, which abases itself in its nothingness and in your Holy Presence. I adore You in the Sacrament of your Love; I desire to receive You in the poor abode that my heart offers You. While awaiting the happiness of Sacramental Communion, I wish to possess you in spirit. Come to me, O my Jesus, that I may come to You. May your Love inflame my whole being in life and in death. Jesus, I believe in You, I hope in You, I love You.”

MIRACULOUS PRAYER TO THE GLORIOUS ST JOSEPH

THE GLORIOUS ST JOSEPH

Feastday: March 19th & May 1st
Patron: of the Universal Church, unborn children, fathers, workers, travelers, immigrants, and a happy death
St. Joseph was the husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the foster-father of Jesus. Holy Scripture proclaims him as a "just man," and the Church has turned to Joseph for his patronage and protection. Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical Quamquam Pluries (On the Devotion to St. Joseph) in 1889 explains why we place so much trust in this saint: The Church encourages us to be devoted to Joseph because he was a model in the heroic practice of all the virtues. The example of virtuous living that he gave in the exact fulfillment of the duties of his state of life is worthy of our reflection. Read the gospel and you will see his faith, hope and charity practiced under trying circumstances. He was prudent in caring for his wife and the child; he showed great leadership in protecting them and assisting them. He was religious in every sense, with that delicacy and sincerity of conscience that is proper to the saints of God. He was just in his dealings with God and man. He was conspicuous for his fortitude and courage. He was truly outstanding in the practice of virginal chastity.

The circumstances of Joseph's death are not known, but it is likely that he died before Jesus's ministry began, and it is implied that he was dead before the Crucifixion (John 19:26-27).

PRAYERS TO SAINT JOSEPH

Prayer 1:
O Blessed Saint Joseph, faithful guardian and protector of virgins, to whom God entrusted Jesus and Mary, I implore you by the love which you did bear them, to preserve me from every defilement of soul and body, that I may always serve them in holiness and purity of love. Amen.

Prayer For Special Favor:
Glorious Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, to you I raise my heart and my hands to implore your powerful intercession. Please obtain for me from the kind Heart of Jesus the help and the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare. I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death and the special favor I now implore.
(Make your petition here...)
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel animated with confidence that your prayers in my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. O glorious Saint Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ, and for the glory of His name, hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.

To St. Joseph for Protection
Gracious St. Joseph, protect me and my family from all evil as you did the Holy Family. Kindly keep us ever united in the love of Christ, ever fervent in imitation of the virtue of our Blessed Lady, your sinless spouse, and always faithful in devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph by Pope St. Pius X
Glorious St. Joseph, model of all who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work in the spirit of penance in expiation of my many sins; to work conscientiously by placing love of duty above my inclinations; to gratefully and joyously deem it an honor to employ and to develop by labor the gifts I have received from God, to work methodically, peacefully, and in moderation and patience, without ever shrinking from it through weariness or difficulty to work; above all, with purity of intention and unselfishness, having unceasingly before my eyes death and the account I have to render of time lost, talents unused, good not done, and vain complacency in success, so baneful to the work of God. All for Jesus, all for Mary, all to imitate thee, O patriarch St. Joseph! This shall be my motto for life and eternity.

who wander the world seeking the ruin of souls.

A Powerful Prayer for Spiritual Warfare Every Catholic Should Know

The Chaplet of St. Michael
Pope Pius IX approved the prayer in 1851 after St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Portuguese Carmelite nun Antónia d’Astónaco.
The prayer invokes St. Michael, the archangels, and the nine choirs of angels.
St. Michael promised that he would grant an “escort of nine angels chosen from each of the nine Choirs when receiving Holy Communion” to the person who prays this chaplet.
He also promised that the person reciting the chaplet daily receives “continual assistance and that of all the holy angels during life, and after death, deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relations.”

Here’s how to pray the Chaplet of St. Michael:

O God, come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, etc.
1) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim, may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
2) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim, may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
3) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones, may the Lord infuse into our hearts a true and sincere spirit of humility.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
4) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominations, may the Lord give us grace to govern our senses and overcome any unruly passions.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
5) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues, may the Lord preserve us from evil and falling into temptation.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
6) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers, may the Lord protect our souls against the snares and temptations of the devil.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
7) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities, may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
8) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels, may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works in order that we may attain the glory of Heaven.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
9) By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels, may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted in the life to come to Heaven.
Our Father…
Hail Mary… (3 times)
Say four Our Fathers honoring Sts. Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and your Guardian Angel (one Our Father for each angel.)
Concluding prayers:
O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls,
vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue
deliver us from all evil,
who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.
Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ,
that we may be made worthy of His promises.
Almighty and Everlasting God,
Who, by a prodigy of goodness
and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men,
has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael,
Prince of Your Church, make us worthy,
we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies,
that none of them may harass us at the hour of death,
but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence.
This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

When St. Michael Miraculously Saved Rome From a Deadly Plague

Here is the miraculous story about the Castel Sant’Angelo
The Castel Sant’Angelo is a large fortress near Vatican City with a gigantic St. Michael the Archangel statue on top. This statue signifies a magnificent story of God’s love and care for his people through the angels.
Around 590 A.D., Rome suffered a terrible plague causing many deaths. Pope St. Gregory the Great plead for the angels’ help to fight this epidemic. The pontiff celebrated Masses and tirelessly processed through Rome with prayers and incense.
St. Michael later appeared on top of the castle with his sword.
In the book The Golden Legend: Readings on the Saints, author Jacobus de Voragine writes:
“The plague was still ravaging Rome, and Gregory ordered the procession to continue to make the circuit of the city, the marchers chanting litanies. An image of the Blessed Mary ever Virgin was carried in the procession.”
“And lo and behold! The poisonous uncleanness of the air yielded to the image as if fleeing from it and being unable to withstand its presence: the passage of the picture brought about a wonderful serenity and purity in the air. We are also told that the voices of the angels were heard around the image, singing…”
“Then the pope saw an angel of the Lord standing atop the castle of Crescentius, wiping a bloody sword and sheathing it. Gregory understood that that put an end to the plague, as, indeed, happened. Thereafter the castle was called the Castle of the Holy Angel.”
Pope St. Gregory the Great then built the St. Michael statue on top of the castle, representing his protection over Rome and the Church.
Let us turn to St. Michael the Archangel in defeating the coronavirus pandemic!

St. Michael the Archangel, please defend us in this day of battle!

Awesome Infographic Of Washing Hands The Catholic Way

Awesome way of washing hands in the Catholic way!

The Catholic Diocese of Dallas recently posted a great info-graphic about hand-washing.
Instead of counting for 20 seconds or singing “Happy Birthday,” they suggest praying one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be. The wash time adds up to between 30 and 45 seconds.
Let us remember as we wash our hands to pray for world’s healing from this coronavirus epidemic.

Cure the Coronavirus: Prayer to Saint Rosalie

How can we end the world’s coronavirus outbreak? This saint might be the answer. Saint Rosalie miraculously cured plagues.

Below is the incredible story, as well as prayer invoking her powerful intercession.

Saint Rosalie

The Church knows little about St. Rosalie‘s life. Her story begins 500 years after her death.

In 1625, the city of Palermo in Sicily, Italy suffered a terrible plague. She appeared to a hunter, telling him to find her remains in a cave. She asked him to bring her remains into the city, citizens processed three times with her relics through Palermo. The plague then miraculously ended.

St. Rosalie became the patroness of Palermo. A sanctuary stands where the hunter found her remains.

Prayer To Saint Rosalie

“Father in heaven, we thank You for the communion of saints so that we can draw near to You through the prayers of St. Rosalie. Through her prayers, help us to remember that our destiny is heaven.

As St. Rosalie gave up all things in this world for the sake of Your Kingdom, through her prayers, may we love more fully Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ, who together with You and the Holy Spirit are one God forever and ever. Amen.

O God, our Father, mercifully look upon Your people who come to You and grant through the intercession of St. Rosalie, who turned away from earthly delights to the joys of contemplation, that we may be delivered from all harm here on earth and one day be welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven.

St. Rosalie, confessor and virgin, we pray to God for our families and friends. Through your powerful prayers, may we obtain health, life, and eternal salvation.

Saint Rosalie, please pray for us and protect us from all diseases!

Cure the Coronavirus: Prayer For Help to Saint Roch

How can we end the world’s coronavirus outbreak? This saint might be the answer. Saint Roch miraculously cured plagues.

Below is the incredible story, as well as prayer invoking his powerful intercession.

St. Roch
Born of a noble family, tradition says St. Roch was miraculously born with a red cross on his breast.
St. Roch gave all of his fortune to the poor at age 20 after his parents died. In 1315, he assisted plague victims in several Italian cities, miraculously curing people with the sign of the cross. While helping the sick, he also contracted the disease.
However, the saint survived after a dog helped him in the forest. The dog brought him food and licked his wounds. He was later mistaken for a spy and spent the rest of his life in prison.
According to tradition, an angel appeared in St. Roch’s cell after his death. The angel said that those who invoked his intercession would be cured of the plague.
Prayer To Saint Roch

O Blessed Saint Roch,
Patron of the sick,
Have pity on those
Who lie upon a bed of suffering.
Your power was so great
When you were in this world,
That by the sign of the Cross,
Many were healed of their diseases.
Now that you are in heaven,
Your power is not less.
Offer, then, to God
Our sighs and tears
And obtain for us that health we seek
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
(Repeat the following 3 times)
Saint Roch, pray for us,
That we may be preserved
From all diseases of body and soul.

Saint Roch, please pray for us and protect us from all diseases!
