MORNING PRAYER AND THE IMPORTANCE OF CATHOLIC PRAYERS

A morning offering is a good start . I like this one ;

“God of my life I welcome this new day. It is your gift by me, a new creation,a promise of resurrection .I thank you for the grace of being alive this morning .I thank you for the sleep that has refreshed me. I thank you for the chance to make a new beginning.
This day is full of promise and opportunity , let me waste none of it .This day is full of mystery and the unknown ,help me to face it without fear or anxiety .
During this day keep me thoughtful, prayerful and kind.
May I be courteous and helpful to others and not turned in on myself . Keep me from any word or deed that would hurt or destroy or belittle, and may the thoughts of my mind be pleasing in your sight. When night comes again may I look back on this day with no grief or bitterness in my heart and may nobody be unhappy because of anything I have done, or anything I have failed to do .
Lord Jesus , friend and brother, may I know you more clearly , follow you more nearly and love you more dearly day by day. Amen.”
The Our Father was taught to us by Jesus, Himself, and is the perfect prayer. The Hail Mary is the Angel Gabriel’s greeting to Mary  when he came to tell her that she was to be the Mother of God.
The Holy Mary was composed by The Church.
The Glory be..  honours the Trinity and we begin and end everything in the Name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit .
I hope this is helpful . As the priest said at your Baptism,” The Christian community welcomes you with great joy.” 🙏

PRAYER TO ARCHANGEL ST. RAPHAEL
Archangel St. Raphael, we ask you in all our needs and trials, as through God’s power you restored the sight and gave guidance to Tobit. We humbly ask your help and intercession so that our souls may be healed and our bodies be protected from all ills, and that through God’s grace, we may be fit to dwell in God’s eternal glory in heavenh. Amen.

PRAYER TO ARCHANGEL ST. GABRIEL
Blessed Saint Gabriel, Archangel, we beseech you to intercede for us at the throne of divine mercy. As you announced the mystery of the Incarnation to Mary, so through your prayers may we receive strength of faith and courage of spirit, and thus find favor with God and redemption through Christ Our Lord. May we sing the praise of God our Savior with the angels and saints in heaven forever and ever. Amen.
Archangel St. Gabriel, pray for us!

Do Not Be Discouraged

"O sinner, be not discouraged, but have recourse to Mary in all your necessities. Call her to your assistance, for such is the divine Will that she should help in every kind of necessity."

Powerful Healing Miracle Prayer to St. Anthony

St Anthony is a Miracle Worker… Say this _Powerful

Prayer to him NOW

Provided it is said in faith and for a particular spiritual benefit

St. Anthony of Padua is known by many as a miracle-worker. A countless number of people over the centuries have prayed to him in faith and have received a miraculous response to their prayers.
Similar to the “Unfailing Prayer to St. Joseph,” this prayer to St. Anthony, according to many, “has never been known to fail, provided that the request is for one’s spiritual benefit or for those whom we are praying for.”
It is important to remember God always answers our prayers. His response may not always be what we expected or wanted, but he always grants us exactly what we need.
Here is the Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony that many continue to pray with a deep trust that God will provide for them in their need.

O Holy St. Anthony gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request).
O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms. The gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.

Place the Divine Mercy Image on Your Door: A Shield of Grace for Your Home

"I will protect the cities and homes in which The Divine Mercy Image is found; I will protect the persons who will venerate [honor] this Image. The only refuge will be trust in My Mercy.” - Jesus to St. Faustina

In times of uncertainty, fear, and spiritual battles, many Catholic families seek not just safety—but peace that comes from God. One simple yet powerful devotion is placing the Divine Mercy image on your door as a sign of faith, trust, and surrender.

“Jesus, I trust in You.”

This is more than a phrase—it is a declaration that invites Christ into your home.

What Is the Divine Mercy Image?

The Divine Mercy image, revealed to Saint Faustina Kowalska, shows Jesus with rays of red and pale light flowing from His Sacred Heart.

These rays represent:

Red – His Precious Blood (life of souls)
Pale – Water (cleansing and mercy)

This image is a reminder of the boundless mercy of Christ, especially in times when we feel weak, afraid, or overwhelmed.

Why Place It on Your Door?

Placing the Divine Mercy image on your door is a visible act of faith—a way of saying:
“Lord, this home belongs to You.”
It serves as:

🕊️ 1. A Spiritual Protection for Your Family
Just as the Israelites marked their doors during the Passover, placing a sacred image today symbolizes trust in God's protection over your household.

🙏 2. A Daily Reminder to Trust God
Every time you enter or leave your home, you are reminded to whisper: “Jesus, I trust in You.”

💖 3. An Invitation for Grace
Devotion to Divine Mercy brings spiritual blessings, peace, and renewal when practiced with sincere faith.

Is There Power in the Image Itself?

The power is not in the material image—but in the faith behind it.
Jesus told Saint Faustina that souls who venerate this image will not perish—not because of the object itself, but because of their trust in His mercy.

How to Practice This Devotion at Home

Here are simple ways to deepen this devotion:
*Place the Divine Mercy image on your front door or near your entrance
*Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily, especially at 3:00 PM
*Say often: “Jesus, I trust in You.”
*Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with your family

A Message for Today’s World

We live in times of uncertainty—but God’s mercy has not changed.
When you place the Divine Mercy image on your door, you are not just decorating your home—you are consecrating it.
You are declaring:
“No matter what comes, we belong to Jesus.”

Final Prayer
Lord Jesus,
We place our home under Your Divine Mercy.
Protect our family from harm, fear, and despair.
Fill our hearts with trust, peace, and faith.
May Your mercy cover us always.
Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.

"I will protect the cities and homes in which The Divine Mercy Image is found; I will protect the persons who will venerate [honor] this Image. The only refuge will be trust in My Mercy.” - Jesus to St. Faustina.
