PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL (Recite Daily)

In the Gospel, Jesus always talks about the devil and driving out demons. He warns that after an unclean spirit comes out of someone, it tries to return to the victim, bringing back "seven other spirits more wicked than itself (Luke 11:15)." In our daily battle against evil spirits, we should frequently invoke the aid of St. Michael the Archangel, whose name means, “one who is like God.”

St. Michael the Archangel led the army of angels who cast Satan and the rebellious angels into Hell. He is known as the Prince of the Angels, the most powerful amongst all the angels.  We should always pray for the protection of the most powerful St. Michael the Archangel!

"St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen."
